I’m thrilled to be teaching the first immersive experience available through Women Teach Men! Join me Summer 2019 (exact dates TBD) for two days of learning hands-on the wilderness living and survival skills you need to survive in the woods – registration is open now.

All guests are encouraged to camp for free on site. The land is beautiful and is a wonderful place to start the day, as well as set the tone for the course overall. There are a limited number of rooms available for an additional cost. If you will be camping, please bring all of your own camping gear. If you are interested in booking a room, please contact me directly.

Wilderness living skills differ from survival skills in that the first is a knowledge-based way of living in ongoing harmony with the natural world.

Survival is inherently an acute, short-term perspective; it is a strategy best applied for when you get lost or hurt and need to find a way to survive through difficulty until you can get rescued.

I will cover both of these skills in this course.

This two-day course will be hosted on private land in the beautiful Willapa Hills outside of Raymond, WA. The event location is a little over 2 hours drive from Seattle and Portland. The address will be shared with all registrants after ticket purchase.

Simple, nutritious meals will be provided for guests starting with dinner on Saturday and including breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Please make sure you have a hearty lunch before arriving on Saturday – feel free to pack snacks.

More information and registration is available at the Women Teach Men website.
